The barn is a spacious retreat for small or large groups. (Sleeps 18) The rustic feel is accompanied by a beautiful view overlooking a pond and our horse pastures. 

There are four private bedrooms and two lofts. There are 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, 2 double beds and six twin beds. The Barn can sleep 16-18 people. (Prices change upon number of guests. Please let us know IN ADVANCE if you are expecting more than 16 guests!)

We are located on a peaceful and secluded 300+ acre farm an hour west of Nashville. There are three other rentals on the property as well.

We have cattle and horses on the property. We have a small garden that will be available to guests as the season provides. 

We have a cream and white dog, LeeLoo, that has free range of the property. She will most likely greet you upon your arrival or join you on your walk. She's very sweet and social, she just wants to meet everyone! (She will bark at you a lot until she gets up the nerve to smell you!) 

We are twenty minute drive to Loretta Lynn's Ranch and Waverly, TN (west). A half-hour from Dickson (east) and an hour outside of Nashville (east) . This provides guest the option of going to the city for the day. 

Guests will have access to the entire 300+ acre property. There are trails for walking or hiking and a pond for fishing and swimming. We do have beef from our cows available to purchase (cuts may be very limited) And a garden as the season allows. Rules are; you pick two weeds for every item you pick! ;) (but seriously!) 

We will be around taking care of animals/ the property. You will likely see Catie, the host; Derrick, our farm manager; Mary Beth, the owner, or Marcia, the co host, on your visit.

 There will be workers/family down below the barn and around the property. The downstairs bathroom might be used by family or workers while you visit. 

We will also be available for any questions or concerns that may arise. We will come introduce ourselves and show you around the property if we can/you want, but other than that we try to leave guests to enjoy themselves on the property. 

There are three other rental buildings on the property. And the hosts home. There will be other guests and family members using the pond and pond dock, as well as walking the trails. Please be considerate of other guests and family members while you're here and enjoy the property responsibly! 

We are pretty secluded. The closest grocery store/ gas station is 10 miles away in McEwen. There is a 70th and Main Coffee Shop, Rocky Branch Market deli and market, Chappell's Grocery Store, Happy Hippie Farm for Keto foods and treats, and Las Brancos for Mexican fare. 

For more coffee shop/ deli / small town you can drive west to Waverly (14 miles) or east to Dickson (24 miles). We HIGHLY suggest bringing groceries with you! 

Directions for Long Rifle Loop Trail: Follow the trail behind the barn to the right. This will lead you to the children's tree fort, past the honeymoon cabin, the hobbit house and treehouse. From here follow the gravel drive (over the paved main drive). It will bring you right back to the barn. 

The power has a habit of going out in inclement weather or strong winds. It doesn’t normally stay out for longer than 2-3 hours. In the country, if the power is out, so is the water. So you will not be able to flush the potty during an outage. We provide candles, flash lights, puzzles and books for your entertainment during the outages. We’re sorry for the inconvenience but if your power is out, so is ours. We feel your pain and frustration.
