Rock ‘N Refuge
is a family-owned and operated beef farm and vacation rental destination. My father bought the property in 2010 so my mother could have a place to keep a few horses and so our family had a spot to escape to on the weekends. She always believed this land could be a place where people found refuge from their troubles and the pace of everyday life.
In 2014, we discovered Airbnb and figured it might help us earn a little extra income while our beautiful buildings sat empty for weeks at a time. We listed the Honeymoon Cabin, and just a few hours later we received our first booking. It became so busy that I left my job in Nashville and began working on the farm full time while staying home with our children.
The Honeymoon Cabin did so well that Dad decided to build something truly unique—and that’s how Serenity House, our treehouse, came to life. By 2017, Serenity House was thriving, and Dad was ready for his next idea: a Hobbit Hole. Wee Nook was added to the property and finished in April 2018.

We loved our stay at the Wee Nook on the Rock N Refuge ranch. The hobbit home was spotless, cozy, and full of charm. The setting was peaceful, private, and beautifully maintained, and the perfect place to relax and unplug for a few days. The owners were welcoming and genuinely kind.
